I’m thankful for the 2.2 million viewers of my TEDx Talk: How to Spot a Leader in Their Handwriting (About 2.1 million views) by me. A few take-aways for those who aspire to give a TEDx talk in 2021 or transition from a 9-5 job to do part-time or full-time speaking + workshops:

1) Focus on 1 Big Idea — not a few ideas jumbled together.

2) Make that idea relevant and practical for a specific audience.
3) No fluff. No selling. No longer than needed.

4) Make the big idea one that you want to be known for and have a passion for sharing, in service of others + solving a problem.

5) Get world-class coaching for your TEDx talk from the likes of Dirk Daenen or Mark Bowden or Tamsen Webster.

6) Giving a memorable TEDx talk is not just for the audience; it’s for you. It sparked my inner-confidence to build that idea into a living that entertains, educates and inspires. I hope the same for you if that is your purpose.

7) Good video footage of your big idea in the form of a TEDx is priceless.

Thanks,Dirk Daenen, TEDx visionary, for believing in my idea and selecting it for the unforgettable TEDx event he created in Luxembourg that’s grown to be one of the leading TEDx events in Europe. Thanks @Jean-Loick Michaux for being a global connector.
