- Stopped comparing myself to others and felt a real sense of peace
- Total presence and spontaneity with my wife and kids
- Could see my thoughts more clearly (both + and -) like slightly muddy waters clearing up and gaining fresh perspective
- Read more deeply and found it easier to regain a consistent, daily reading habit
- Irritability replaced with inner calmness
- Less of a need to please or to project perfection
- Surprised at how easy it is not to bring my phone with me after just 2 days of doing this
- Feelings of rejection or not being enough dissolved yet a feeling of groundedness and ease with myself remained
- Just happier in this natural state of being
- Developed more patience, better listening, more attentive senses, enjoyed the process of eating, and working out more
- Heightened self-awareness in the present which helped slow down time
- By not caring so much, opportunities arose in my absence
- Forehead aches and bloodshot eyes from excessive time on the computer disappeared
- Realized that sometimes the best thing to do is to do nothing
- No FOMO
